BCHE Sponsors and Participates in 2026 New York State Food Summit

The Buffalo Center for Health Equity (BCHE) is proud to announce its sponsorship and participation in the 2026 New York State Food Summit, Nourishing Communities Together, taking place on June 16, 2026, in Albany, New York.

Hosted by the Alliance for a Hunger Free New York, the NYS Food as Medicine Coalition, and The Food Pantries for the Capital District, the biennial summit brings together anti-hunger and nutrition security stakeholders from across New York State. The event’s theme, “Collaborating for Equity, Sustainability, and Better Health Through Food,” reflects a shared commitment to addressing food insecurity and advancing health outcomes through community-driven solutions.

The summit convenes service providers, healthcare organizations, academics, advocates, policymakers, and community leaders to explore innovative strategies that promote nutrition security and create a healthier, more equitable future for all New Yorkers.

As an organization dedicated to advancing health equity throughout Western New York, BCHE is honored to support this important statewide gathering and contribute to conversations that strengthen communities through improved access to healthy, nutritious food.
