Project that aims to transform Broadway-Fillmore gets $3M boost from Mother Cabrini
An ambitious effort to transform a neighborhood on Buffalo's East Side – and eventually rebuild many more communities in the city – has received a financial jump-start from a powerful funder.
The Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, the largest foundation focused on health outcomes in New York, on Thursday announced a two-year, $3 million grant for the Buffalo Center for Health Equity to support the Upper Broadway-Fillmore Transformation Project.
