Latoya Elliott
Community Engagement Ambassador
Latoya Elliott serves as a Community Engagement Ambassador at the Buffalo Center for Health Equity (BCHE), helping individuals and families connect with essential healthcare services and community resources. Her work focuses on improving access to primary and maternal healthcare through community outreach, relationship-building, and personalized support.
Latoya brings a diverse background in case management, community outreach, family support, and early childhood development. Her experience includes working as an Early Learning Specialist at King Urban Life Center and supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. These roles have strengthened her skills in communication, advocacy, and connecting diverse populations with the resources they need.
One of Latoya’s favorite aspects of her work is meeting new people and building genuine connections. She believes that effective community engagement goes beyond sharing information; it requires fostering trust and ensuring individuals feel heard, valued, and supported.
Outside of BCHE, Latoya is the Founder and Creative Director of The Perfect Mix, a creative wellness business that brings people together through painting and self-expression. One of her proudest accomplishments was hosting a paint party for 200 guests at Seneca Niagara Casino, her largest event to date.
Through her work in healthcare outreach and creative entrepreneurship, Latoya remains committed to making a positive impact by connecting with people, strengthening relationships, and creating meaningful experiences.
