Goals of the Study

• Gather detailed air quality data in areas with poor air quality and adverse health outcomes (the areas in yellow on the map).
• Address the gap in accurate, localized air quality data, which is currently only collected at the three sites marked in red on the map.

What is Necessary to Participate?

• Access to an outdoor power source away from pollutant sources (like heating vents, BBQ grills, generators, etc.)
• A Wi-Fi connection 

Additional Info

• The research team will install the sensors and return to check on them 6-8 times throughout the year.
• The sensors cost very little to power – about $1 per year. However, participants will receive compensation, provided that the sensor remains intact at the end of the study (Sep. 2024 – Aug. 2025).
